As you walk, you’ll pass bright metal, dark stone, glass that catches the harbor light, and streets with the hum of cafés, seabirds, and city life all mixed together. We’ll begin at the Sun Voyager, sweep past the bold shimmer of Harpa, stand beneath the soaring face of Hallgrímskirkja, and end with the deep roots of Reykjavík at The Settlement Exhibition.
I’ll start talking as you approach each landmark, but if the audio does not begin on its own, just tap play manually. If you feel turned around, open the map in the app... it’ll set you straight. At every stop, you can ask me questions in the chat section below.
For religious or sensitive places, especially Hallgrímskirkja, dress respectfully. As you walk, mind bike lanes, curb edges, and street crossings... Reykjavík can feel easygoing, but it still likes you to pay attention.
If you have not already, head to the first stop now... The Sun Voyager is waiting.
